Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled when you visit Casino Software Guide (the "site"). The site is an informational guide for businesses. It has no user accounts and does not sell anything.

Data we collect

  • Server logs: your IP address, request time, requested page, referrer, browser and device type. Hosting providers create these logs automatically to deliver the site and keep it secure.
  • Cookie consent choice: a small record stored in your browser that remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional storage.
  • Analytics: the site does not currently run analytics. If analytics is enabled in future, it will load only after you consent.
  • Messages you send: if you contact us through the contact page, the details you provide are used to answer you.

Why we use data and legal bases

Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR we rely on the following legal bases. Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for server logs, security and delivering the site, which is needed to run a secure website. Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) for any optional analytics. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer. Legitimate interests or steps you request for answering your messages.

Retention

Server logs are kept for a short period set by the hosting provider, normally no longer than 30 days unless needed to investigate a security incident. Your consent choice stays in your browser until you clear it. Messages are kept for as long as needed to answer them and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Processors and recipients

We use a static hosting provider and content delivery network to serve the site. No analytics processor is used while analytics is disabled. These processors act on our instructions and are bound by data protection terms. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Hosting and delivery providers may process data in countries outside your own, including outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Where this happens we rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise any right, use the details on the contact page.

Children

The site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Third-party links

The site links to company websites. Those websites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.
